Interns at IHFW

At International Heritage Fashion Week (IHFW), our interns are more than assistants — they’re the heartbeat of production. Every show, every runway cue, every backstage moment relies on sharp, driven individuals who want to learn how real fashion-week operations actually work.

IHFW interns gain hands-on experience across multiple departments: designer relations, backstage management, model coordination, VIP hospitality, press support, and front-of-house operations. You’ll learn the pace, the pressure, and the precision of producing a New York Fashion Week event — not from the sidelines, but right in the center of it.

Every intern who completes the program receives an official IHFW Certificate of Participation, recognizing their contribution to a Getty-covered NYFW production. Outstanding performers may be invited to return as Lead Interns the following season — guiding new interns, supporting department heads, and stepping into early-stage management roles within the IHFW ecosystem.
